Job description
About WoodWing
WoodWing helps brands, agencies, and publishers tell their stories. With our digital asset management and multi-channel content creation solutions, we enable improved efficiency, clearer workflows, and timely content delivery across marketing and audience channels. WoodWing’s products streamline the workflow of creating, managing, and distributing digital content across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on improving the efficiency and collaboration of teams. Our solutions are particularly popular in publishing environments but are also adopted by businesses across a wide range of industries for digital content management and multi-channel publishing.
Turn complexity into opportunity
In this role, you lead the way in transforming complex integration challenges into elegant solutions. You act as an owner, bridging business and technology to unlock scalable integrations that grow with our DAM platform and our customers.
Purpose
The Technical Business Analyst drives the design, optimization, and implementation of integrations that connect our SaaS Digital Asset Management (DAM) system with surrounding content, data, and publication ecosystems. This role ensures seamless data flow, consistent metadata exchange, and efficient cross-platform content operations by translating business needs into well-structured integration requirements and workflows.
Responsibilities
Gather and translate business and technical requirements into integration-focused user stories, data flows, and interface specifications.
Analyze and map cross-system content lifecycles, metadata exchange patterns, API interactions, and publication workflows.
Perform data and system analysis to validate integration behavior, troubleshoot discrepancies, and identify opportunities to streamline interoperability.
Support Agile rituals—sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness—as they relate to integration development and dependencies.
Define integration-specific acceptance criteria, support QA/UAT, and ensure end-to-end workflows function correctly across connected systems.
Document integration architectures, API usage patterns, data contracts, system behaviors, and customer integration use cases.
What Success Looks Like
Clear, actionable integration requirements that align business needs with technical implementation.
Reliable, scalable integrations that improve metadata consistency and streamline cross-platform content operations.
Timely delivery of integration features that enhance interoperability and customer workflow efficiency.
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
3+ years as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in SaaS, CMS, DAM, or similar integration-heavy environments.
Strong understanding of metadata models, taxonomies, workflow orchestration, and content publishing processes across connected systems.
Comfortable working with APIs, data mappings, JSON/XML schemas, and cloud-based integration architectures.
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex system interactions for diverse audiences.
